Hello, I'm
I'm Gosia - short for Małgorzata - a former English teacher turned Frontend Developer, now based in Barcelona after living and working across six countries. These days I'm heads-down building for the web: this site is my playground, and every project on it has taught me something new ✨

About
Teacher turned developer
I've thrived in multicultural environments since 2017 and speak five languages. In 2022 I traded teaching English for code - self-taught, no CS degree or bootcamp - and never looked back.
Since then I've gone from small practice apps to shipping production features on a live web platform used by real people - stretching well beyond the UI into testing, security, CI, infrastructure, and AI-assisted workflows.
Today I build with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind - increasingly at the intersection of frontend and AI, shipping things like streamed, LLM-powered tools and the cross-chain DeFi flows behind them. I'm not chasing my next job title - I'm chasing the next thing to learn, and I treat every project as a chance to grow.
The world is your oyster 🌍

- Developer Tools & Workflow: Storybook, ESLint, Prettier, Browser DevTools, CI/CD workflows, GitHub API automation
Personal projects
Things I've built
The World Is My Oyster
A personal travel blog built to explore AI-assisted development with Claude Code. Features MDX-powered blog posts, static site generation, and a clean reading experience - with stories from places like Lombok, Indonesia.
Frontend Mentor
A collection of practice projects from Frontend Mentor. My most recent challenge focused on exploring Styled-Components - I built a Huddle Landing Page to get hands-on experience with component-based styling, theming, and responsive layouts.
Frontend Developer – 8Billionminds
Contributed to the early-stage development of a live-learning platform that connects teachers and learners worldwide. Focused on frontend features and UI improvements to support the vision of creating a global, free education ecosystem.
React Weather App
Interactive weather application displaying real-time data from a public API. Implemented search functionality, responsive design, and reusable React components as the final project of the SheCodes React course.
Kind words
What people say
“I had the pleasure of working with Gosia during my time as Co-Founder and CTO at Decubate, where she was an exceptional member of our frontend development team. What impressed me most was her remarkable growth trajectory and ownership mindset. She joined us as a junior developer with no Web3 experience, yet quickly evolved into a trusted mid-level developer who could independently lead critical projects. Her work on the Compliance Hub was instrumental in helping Decubate become the first MiCAR-licensed launchpad in the EU. Beyond her technical contributions, Gosia demonstrated natural leadership by founding SkillCraft Sessions, peer-led workshops that enhanced knowledge sharing and team collaboration. I recommend her without hesitation.”

Persistence in Action
In 2023, I gave a TED-style talk through WaveMakers.io personal development program about perseverance. The message was simple: keep going. For me, that mindset isn’t just personal - it’s how I approach code. Debugging, learning new frameworks - it all takes resilience and curiosity. Sharing this talk was a way to show that persistence shapes not only my story, but also the way I grow as a developer.
